We welcome you to be amazed by the spectacular views of Perth when you experience the Zamia Trail in Bold Park. This 6.5km guided hike offers a unique bushland experience en route to the highest natural point on the metropolitan coastal plain. At 85 metres above sea level, you can see the Indian Ocean, Perth city, Rottnest Island, Kings Park and Botanic Garden, and even glimpses of the Swan River.  Bold Park offers you a memorable experience any time of the year.

AMENITIES
Toilets are NOT available at the tour start point. Public toilets can be located at Perry Lakes reserve, off Perry Lakes Drive to the East of Bold Park. Please visit prior to arrival if required.
ENTRY FEES TO NATIONAL PARK
No National Park entry fees required on this tour.
CARPARK
We will be meeting at the WA Ecology Centre Carpark at 165 Perry Lakes Drive.
HIKE GRADING
This hike is considered grade Two. It is suitable for most ages, and is recommended for people with some fitness. Trails have rough surfaces, and sections of uneven ground. There is a steady incline hill with a distance of about 1.5km so please keep this in mind when deciding if this difficulty is appropriate for you.
CANCELLATION POLICY
No-shows and cancellations received within 48 hours of hike departure will incur a 100% cancellation fee.

Cancellations within 2-7 days prior will incur a 50% cancellation fee. Cancellations received over 7 days in advance will receive a full refund or credit towards another hike experience. Please note that Rezdy fees are non refundable. Guests can transfer their booking to a friend with no penalty but must advise The Hike Collective so we can forward all booking information to the new attendee.

If The Hike Collective cancels an event due to weather or danger in any way, your ticket will automatically be moved to the new date, or you will be eligible to transfer amounts paid to another tour or receive a full refund.
COVID-19 POLICY
We are aware of the current situation with regards to COVID-19 and are working with our team and guests to ensure the safety and health of all of those we come into contact with. Our tours are currently limited to 18 guests and 2 hike leaders. We request that all hikers and hike leaders maintain the 2m social distancing required by law at this time. If you are unwell at the time of the tour commencing, we request that you remain at home and get in touch with us regarding transferring your ticket to another date. We appreciate your understanding at this time and thank you for supporting local.
