Cancellation Policy

Changes and Cancellations by The Hike Collective

a) Changes to Your Booking: Sometimes, we need to shake things up a bit. If we need to make a major change, we’ll let you know as soon as we can. Then, you can choose to:

  1. Roll with the changes.
  2. Switch to another adventure.
  3. Cancel your tour.

b) Force Majeure: Mother Nature and unexpected events (like natural disasters, extreme weather, strikes, pandemics, etc.) can mess with our plans. If that happens, we’ll offer a change of date, travel credit, or a different experience. No compensation here, but we’ll make sure you’re looked after.

c) Tour Cancellations: If we have to cancel your tour before it starts, we’ll give you a full refund.

d) Non-Payment: If you don’t pay the balance at least 30 days before the tour, we’ll treat it as a cancellation. The usual cancellation charges will apply.

e) Health and Safety: We care about everyone’s safety and fun. If someone could risk the health, safety, or enjoyment of others, we might have to refuse service. In that case, our liability is limited to a refund of any money paid, minus any services already used and admin fees.

f) Minimum Numbers: We need a minimum number of guests for our tours. If we don’t reach that number, we might cancel the booking and offer a full refund or a change of date.
