20-22 September 2024

Explore the natural wonders of Esperance at the inaugural Esperance Hiking Festival. This three-day festival in September shines a spotlight on Esperance’s hiking trails, inviting you to explore the diverse tracks that wind through the captivating landscapes of Cape Le Grand National Park.

Delve into adventure with five carefully crafted guided hikes, designed for beginners to seasoned hikers. Whether you seek a leisurely stroll or a challenging trek, our trails promise an unforgettable journey through Esperance’s scenic beauty.

Find Your Element

This unique festival offers five specially curated hiking tours, each dedicated to one of the classical elements: Water, Fire, Space, Earth, and Air. Each journey is designed to immerse you in the profound beauty and elemental forces of Esperance, creating a perfect fusion of adventure and introspection.

Developed in partnership by regional tourism organisation Australia’s Golden Outback and The Hike Collective, with funding support from the Department of Local Government, Sport and Cultural Industries through the WA Hiking Participation Grant Program, the GROUNDED | Esperance Hiking festival 2024 represents a collaborative effort to inspire visitors and locals to explore the region’s trails.
