An urban adventure awaits as we embark on this exclusive 20km guided hike through the majestic Kings Park and Botanical Gardens before merging onto the Bush to Beach Trail which forms the east/west section of the Whadjuk Trail network.
Enjoy the magnificent wildflowers of Kings Park as we hike along the promenades and glass walkways, adventure through Zamia and Tuart forests in Bold Park’s “Sanctuary by the Sea”, with treetop walkways to see the city and sea in one spot. Finish your adventure with a well deserved refreshment and grazing table when you arrive in North Cottesloe.
We start at the State war memorial in Kings Park before heading along the Law walk, over the Lotterywest "glass walkway", following the promenade along the cliff edge of Kings Park. Now we begin the Bush to Beach Trail which forms the east/west section of the Whadjuk Trail network. this makes up 16km of our hike and takes us on a winding trail through parklands and bushlands, alongside suburban streets, and back out into Bold Park. Enjoy the highlights of Bold Park including the treetop viewing platforms, where you can take in the amazing views across the city and out to the ocean.
After a short morning tea break here, we head out the other side of Bold Park and by the Cottesloe Golf course, the Ballaruk Bushland, Allen Park and Swanbourne Reserve, before finishing our tour at the Grant Marine Park opposite North Cottesloe Beach for a well deserved fresh juice and gourmet grazing platter.
