Explore the true delight of John Forrest National Park’s lesser explored Eagle View Trail and the pristine habitats on this 15 km eco-adventure. The National Park is one of Australia’s oldest conservation areas and Western Australia’s first national park. Enjoy magnificent views over the city, the rush of water on one of the multiple waterfalls during winter, and the secret history of the tunnel, ‘fairy villages’, and ‘swimming pool’ of the early 1900’s. There’s plenty of wildlife to observe including many native birds, kangaroos and bandicoots, while the wildflowers colour the landscape in the springtime.
The Eagle View Walk Trail is a 15km circuit that leads you to several of John Forrest National Park’s less explored destinations. The trail is a hikers delight, covering a variety of relatively pristine habitats.
