Get ready for an all-day adventure on the magnificent King Jarrah Trail as you immerse yourself on the steeply forested valley slopes and rock-rimmed pools of the Murray River.  You will be rewarded with a stop at the iconic 250-year-old King Jarrah Tree himself.  Trace the former transportation routes of the once vibrant timber industry, and enjoy rich Jarrah Forest and beautiful Murray River scenery on this moderately strenuous day hike.

AMENITIES
Toilets available at your start point.
ENTRY FEES TO NATIONAL PARK
National Park Entry Fees apply and must be paid upon arrival. This is $15 per vehicle. We recommend purchasing a parks Pass which will give you an annual pass to all National Parks in WA. If you have an RAC membership, this is 50% off.
CARPARK
We will be meeting at the Nanga Mill Campsite.
Lane Poole Reserve is a 100-kilometre drive south-east from Perth. The entry station to the park is 7.5 kilometres south of Dwellingup.
Take Nanga Road all the way to Nanga Mill Campsite, and we will meet at the big wooden sign on the edge of the forest.
HIKE GRADING
This hike is considered grade four. It requires a good fitness level, and covers steep and rough sections. The trail is mostly loose and uneven gravel, and with a long distance, it requires good stamina. This hike is not recommended for beginners.
CANCELLATION POLICY
No-shows and cancellations received within 48 hours of hike departure will incur a 100% cancellation fee.

Cancellations within 2-7 days prior will incur a 50% cancellation fee. Cancellations received over 7 days in advance will receive a full refund or credit towards another hike experience. Please note that Rezdy fees are non refundable. Guests can transfer their booking to a friend with no penalty but must advise The Hike Collective so we can forward all booking information to the new attendee.

If The Hike Collective cancels an event due to weather or danger in any way, your ticket will automatically be moved to the new date, or you will be eligible to transfer amounts paid to another tour or receive a full refund.
COVID-19 POLICY
We are aware of the current situation with regards to COVID-19 and are working with our team and guests to ensure the safety and health of all of those we come into contact with. Our tours are limited to 15 guests and up to 2 hike leaders. We request that all hikers and hike leaders maintain the 1.5m social distancing required by law at this time. If you are unwell at the time of the tour commencing, we request that you remain at home and get in touch with us regarding transferring your ticket to another date. We appreciate your understanding at this time and thank you for supporting local.
