Tour Overview

Escape to the Bickley Valley,  to enjoy the best of the Mason & Bird Heritage Trail  and the New Victoria Dam Walk Trail as you navigate the route of an 1870’s tramway on this 7 km hike. Exploring Australia’s pioneer heritage through the Korung National Park, uncovering Australia’s oldest wooden bridge, the Munday Brook Bridge, and Victoria Reservoir, the first Western Australian dam.   Enjoy the abundance of valley views, expansive forests of Wandoo and beautiful granite outcrops as we adventure in the Bickley Valley.  If you are interested in discovering some lesser-known stories of Perth’s history, then this experience will inspire you.  Adventure on one of Perth’s lesser-known trails, and escape the hustle and bustle to journey back in time to the early settlements of Western Australia and the incredible beginnings of the timber milling industry of WA.

Once you have finished on the trails, you just might want to indulge in some of the best local produce of Western Australia, along the Bickley Valley wine trail. We can provide you with the inside scoop on where to visit and the wines to try.
