MASON & BIRD HERITAGE TRAIL

The hike trail combines the New Victoria Dam Walk Trail with the Mason & Bird Heritage Trail and explores Australia's pioneer heritage through the Korung National Park.   From Australia's oldest wooden bridge to the first Western Australian dam, the rich history of this trail will inspire you.

AMENITIES
Toilets available at the halfway mark of the tour.
ENTRY FEES TO NATIONAL PARK
No National Park entry fees required on this tour.
CARPARK
Parking is limited but we will be meeting next to the carpark before the dam gates off Masonmill Road.
HIKE GRADING
This hike is considered grade Two. It is suitable for most ages, and is recommended for people with some fitness. Trails have rough surfaces, and sections of uneven ground.
CANCELLATION POLICY
No-shows and cancellations received within 48 hours of hike departure will incur a 100% cancellation fee.

Cancellations within 2-7 days prior will incur a 50% cancellation fee. Cancellations received over 7 days in advance will receive a full refund or credit towards another hike experience. Please note that Rezdy fees are non refundable. Guests can transfer their booking to a friend with no penalty but must advise The Hike Collective so we can forward all booking information to the new attendee.

If The Hike Collective cancels an event due to weather or danger in any way, your ticket will automatically be moved to the new date, or you will be eligible to transfer amounts paid to another tour or receive a full refund.
COVID-19 POLICY
We are aware of the current situation with regards to COVID-19 and are working with our team and guests to ensure the safety and health of all of those we come into contact with. Our tours are currently limited to 8 guests and up to 2 hike leaders. We request that all hikers and hike leaders maintain the 2m social distancing required by law at this time. If you are unwell at the time of the tour commencing, we request that you remain at home and get in touch with us regarding transferring your ticket to another date. We appreciate your understanding at this time and thank you for supporting local.
