The best time of year to experience Piesse Brook is right now and we welcome new hikers, aspiring adventurers, and winter wanderers to join us on this 3.5km beginner-friendly winter guided hike along the Piesse Brook interpretive trail to the beautiful Rocky Pool in Kalamunda National Park.
You will discover a diversity of wildflowers, birdlife, and even shy bush creatures, exploring the interesting geology of the area and uncovering the stories of the hey-days of Rocky Pool. Our journey takes us along the Piesse Brook with a short detour to take in the iconic Bibbulmun Track, to enjoy the iconic Rocky Pool while the water is flowing. Enjoy a moment to be mindful and calm amongst the magic of the water crashing and flowing off the rocks before retracing our steps. The tracks on this hike are mostly wide, with a small section of winding trail and easy to navigate, so this makes a perfect first-timer hike or an outing for the entire family.
This beginner friendly and child friendly experience will take along the edge of Piesse Brook to the glorious Rocky Pool to take in the sights and sounds in its winter form.
