I have been on approx 5 of their hikes this year. They are a safety driven, inclusive friendly hiking group. No membership fees- just sign up to any one of a number of their hiking activities via their FB / website or via Eventbrite. The Hike Collective cater for all shapes, sizes, abilities and even have ‘fur baby’ walks from time to time. They have a ‘no person left behind’ / or too slow’ policy. The Hike Collective can do this as there are usually around 6 Hike leaders on each hike, meaning participants can hike in smaller subgroups with a leader and catch up with each other at various points along the route. Their whole philosophy is about ‘giving it a go’ get out into nature and spend a morning meeting others, and trying something that you might not otherwise have had the confidence to do on your own.
