With beautiful waterfalls cascading over shear granite face, jarrah forests for days, and an abundance of native wildlife, Serpentine National Park is an idyllic spot for a day-hike. This 15km combination hike along Kitty’s Gorge and up Baldwins Bluff will highlight the steep slopes of Serpentine River valley, creating a stunning landscape home to all kinds of birds and animals. Get the chance to see kangaroos, wallabies, possums and many other animals that also call the park home.
Start your journey in Serpentine through the Jarrah forrest towards Kitty's Gorge. Enjoy the beautiful scenery and wildlife as the trail takes you deep into the valley within Serpentine National Park. This section of the hike makes up 9km of the journey.
Part two of this hike takes you on the lesser known trail in Serpentine National Park is a challenging 6km up and back to Baldwins Bluff. It begins with a moderately steep 2km, before flattening out along the top before approaching the lookout. expect to see beautiful jarrah forest, and amazing views over the valley and of course the best views from above of the Serpentine Falls.
