Explore the history and heritage of Perth on our urban Coast to River guided hike on the Wardun Beelier Bidi. This trail makes up part of the Wadjuk Trail Network.  Traverse 18km on this urban adventure, linking bushland with iconic Noongar and Heritage Trails and immerse yourself in the diverse landscape and natural settings. From sweeping ocean views at Cottesloe beach, to Devils Elbow Cave in Peppermint grove,  marvel at raptors and waterbirds as we weave through ecological corridors of flora and fauna.  We head to Buckland Hill Reserve, one of the highest points in Perth, was used as an observation point by Willem de Vlamingh when he landed near Cottesloe Beach in 1696.   Explore the history of the Leighton Battery bunker, with tunnel complexes and gun placements, before we reach Mudurup one of many points along the Perth Coastline where ceremonies relating to the Kuranup ( Noongar Heaven) took place, and a registered ceremonial site with mythological significance for Noongar people.

WARDUN BEELIER BIDI HIKE

Toilets are availble throughout the tour.
ENTRY FEES TO NATIONAL PARK
No National Park entry fees apply.
CARPARK
There is ample parking and check in will be at the Grant Marine Carpark in Cottesloe.
HIKE GRADING
This hike is considered grade 3 as the trail follows a bitumen track and beach sand trails for most of the way, and has a distance of 17km with some undulating gradient. We recommend a moderate fitness level to complete this tour.
CANCELLATION POLICY
No-shows and cancellations received within 48 hours of hike departure will incur a 100% cancellation fee.

Cancellations within 2-7 days prior will incur a 50% cancellation fee. Cancellations received over 7 days in advance will receive a full refund or credit towards another hike experience. Please note that Rezdy fees are non refundable. Guests can transfer their booking to a friend with no penalty but must advise The Hike Collective so we can forward all booking information to the new attendee.

If The Hike Collective cancels an event due to weather or danger in any way, your ticket will automatically be moved to the new date, or you will be eligible to transfer amounts paid to another tour or receive a full refund.
