Are you ready to enjoy two of the best beginner friendly trails in Perth on this private tour of the Perth Hills? Kalamunda is located in the heart of the Perth Hills, just a short 30 minutes drive from Perth, and is home to arguably the best waterfall on the Darling Range escarpment. Be immersed in whimsical woodlands of Whistlepipe Gully and marvel at the panoramic views and wonderful waterfall at Lesmurdie Falls on this two part hike tour.
We will pick you up from your accomodation in Perth before a short drive to the Perth Hills to begin your hiking adventure. Enjoy barista made coffee by one of the best local cafes.
Our first stop is Whistlepipe Gully to enjoy a beautiful and scenic 4km hike across gullies, along cascading streams and through wildflower lanes. This 'locals hotspot' is truly one of the most glorious beginner friendly trails within a 30 minute drive of the CBD, and you know its a good one, when the locals are the only ones who know about it!
Now it is time for a short 10 minute drive 'up the hill' to Lesmurdie Falls, where you will enjoy a taste of the local food, with a gourmet picnic lunch or afternoon tea on a rocky outcrop hidden above the falls. (Depending on your booking time! We also cater to your dietary requirements!)
Now that you are refuelled, enjoy either a 2km or 4km loop experience to the foot of the falls, and up to the top for stunning city skyline views.
Before arriving back in Perth, enjoy a scenic drive along the famous Zig Zag Scenic Drive; one of Perth's best driving roads, with stops to take some happy snaps and enjoy the beautiful city of Perth from the hills.
