Before your tour
FOOD ALLERGIES AND DIETARY REQUIREMENTS
Some of our tours include food and beverages. We can accommodate most food allergies and dietary requirements; however, there is no guarantee that we will be able to accommodate all. We ask that you please let us know at least 48 hours in advance of your booked tour so that our partnering suppliers can accommodate any food allergies or dietary requirements. It is the guest’s responsibility to let The Hike Collective know if you have any food allergies or dietary requirements.
Getting There
The Hike Collective tours are mostly self-drive, and do not include transfer. All of our tours are accessible within an hours drive of Perth CBD. All tickets come with a map or drive directions to ensure you can easily find the start point. Where public transport is an option, we also provide this information. Although some access roads are gravel, all tours are accessible with a small vehicle and no 4X4 vehicles are required.
Our Rottnest Island Tours are accessible via ferry or air. Tickets can be added to your booking, or you can organise transport yourself and meet us on island.
Arrival
All parking and carpark information is sent with your tickets, and all tours have car park accessibility.
Facilities
All tours have access to public toilets, and this information is sent to you with your tickets. In rare circumstances, the toilets are located towards the middle of the tour, rather than at the start, but we will let you know if this is relevant on your specific tour. Leave No Trace principles apply on all hikes where there is limited access to toilets.
Guest Care and Support
GUIDE DOGS
Guests with a disability may be accompanied by a certified assistance or guide dog to assist them on our guided hikes. The WA National Parks and Wildlife Service requests that our guests (or another guest on behalf of the guest with the disability) always keep their assistance dog under effective control and remove any faeces deposited by the dog. Owners are liable for any property damage caused by an assistance dog.
CARER’S CARD
The Hike Collective offer a 50% discount to holders of the Carer and Companion Cards when joining their companion on any booked guided walk or hike.
