Tour Overview

We head to Rottnest Island to explore some of the best of the Wadjemup Bidi network; a series of walk trails that will take you across spectacular coastal headlands, past stunning inland lakes and encounter both natural and man-made attractions along the way.

We head off on a short 8-minute bus ride to Porpoise bay, where we begin the journey on the Ngank Yira Bidi (Uncover Bickley Battery) for a 6.5km hike back to settlement.

Pass the only visitable shipwreck off Rottnest at Henrietta Rocks, hike Jibulee hill to the highest point of the Bickley Bay area, and enjoy 360-degree views of the island and surrounding waters. Share a moment of stillness, or a swift swim at a hidden bay, tucked between bunkers and boulders before we uncover the Bickley battery and Kingstown barracks to learn about Fremantle Fortress to round out your adventure.

Our expert tip: This is a great tour for the summer months on Rottnest Island.
