Bells Rapids is situated where the Avon and Swan rivers meet in the Northern reaches of the Swan Valley. From the top of the road you get your first glimpses of the idyllic valley that is Jumbuck Hill Park. With gushing rapids on the Swan River through the wet months, and an intricate path of glimmering rock, drift wood and calm pools in the dry months, our 5km hike at Bells rapids is not to be missed. With grey kangaroos bouncing through the wildflowers, Bells Rapids is just a 40 minute drive from Perth, and has an iconic walk bridge spanning the Swan River over the white water rapids, making this an exciting viewing spot.
The scenic Bells Rapids walk trail enjoys views of the countryside and Swan River on this adventurous 'goat trail hike. With some fun rocky outcrops to climb over, a tough climb, and descent, and a meander along the river, take in the views of the rapids and the fresh country air.
