This unique festival offers five specially curated hiking tours, each dedicated to one of the classical elements: Water, Fire, Space, Earth, and Air. Each journey is designed to immerse you in the profound beauty and elemental forces of Esperance, creating a perfect fusion of adventure and introspection.

Developed in partnership by regional tourism organisation Australia’s Golden Outback and The Hike Collective, with funding support from the Department of Local Government, Sport and Cultural Industries through the WA Hiking Participation Grant Program, the GROUNDED | Esperance Hiking festival 2024 represents a collaborative effort to inspire visitors and locals to explore the region’s trails.

    Great hike around John Forrest National park. The tour guide was extremely friendly and knowledgeable about the trails and local history. Awesome group of solo hikers!
