As the late afternoon casts its warm glow, we invite you to join us for an enchanting evening hike. Our adventure begins with a trek along a small portion of the iconic Bibbulmun Track, leading us across Mundaring Weir towards the awe-inspiring Golden View lookout. Prepare to be captivated as you immerse yourself in the pristine beauty of Beelu National Park, surrounded by lush bushland.
During our hike, you’ll delve into the fascinating history of an ambitious project that once threatened to change the course of Australian history. Discover the remarkable story of a visionary premier and an engineering genius who spearheaded the creation of the monumental freshwater pipeline. Marvel at the incredible feat achieved and learn about its impact on the region.
As we traverse the trail, keep an eye out for vibrant artwork showcasing the protection efforts dedicated to our endangered cockatoos. Witness the power of art in preserving and raising awareness about these majestic birds. We’ll also uncover the secrets of creating “rivers in the desert,” an inspiring endeavor that harmonizes with nature’s rhythms.
As the sun begins its descent beyond the Perth Hills skyline, be prepared for a truly magical experience. The dusk return hike retraces our steps along the trail, now magically transformed under the subtle veil of twilight. Watch in awe as nocturnal creatures stir, signaling the start of their active hours.
Throughout the tour, our experienced guides will share their knowledge and stories, providing insights into the area’s history, natural wonders, and conservation efforts. You’ll have ample opportunities to capture stunning photographs and create memories that will last a lifetime.
