We invite you to discover Perth’s green heart on a green 5 km guided journey through the world’s largest inner-city Park, Kings Park & Botanic Gardens, and dive deeper into the wilderness of this incredible destination, to go beyond the botanicals.
From a powerful place of reflection from war heroes lost to the home of ancient trees towering woodlands, and floral delight, the trail you will be guided on will uncover the deepest roots of Kings Park.
Take a hike through the treetops along the Federation Walkway, taking in striking artwork celebrating the centenary of Federation, Aboriginal Culture, and the magnificent trees of the Swan Coastal Plain. Visit Gija Jumulu, the 750-year-old Boab tree that journeyed thousands of kilometers to be here in the heart of our city.
As magnificent as the city and river views along the Mt Eliza escarpment, are the unique flora on display in throughout the seasons, as your trail leads you through the beautifully manicured gardens, and out beyond, into the protected bushland of native flora heaven, to witness orchids, banksias, and more in their natural habitat.

Great exercise and seeing nature at its finest in a park that I have never to before. Our tour guide was very knowledge and kept us motivated.
Loved all of it, the walk the flora, and the knowledge of our guides. This is not my first hike with The Hike Collective and definitely wont be my last. This group is always welcoming , whether you are with friends or solo. Today I was solo but never do I feel uncomfortable and would highly recommend if anyone is contemplating hiking by yourself, just do it.
