Join us on a beautiful 10km hike along the famous Bibbulmun Track. This track is one of the world’s great long distance walk trails, stretching 1000km from Kalamunda in the Perth Hills, to Albany on the south coast, winding through the heart of the scenic South West of Western Australia. The Track takes hikers through towering karri and tingle forests, down mist-shrouded valleys, over giant granite boulders and along breathtaking coastal heathlands. It passes through many of the most beautiful national parks of the south west forests and coastline. On this tour we head to Sullivan Rock, Mount Cooke, a 1 hour drive from Perth.
This is Part 2 of our Bibbulmun Track Series, Sullivan Rock to Mt Cuthbert, and is arguably the best day hike around Perth, showcasing lush Jarrah & Ghost Gum forest filled with banksias and grasstrees, and maybe you might see a kangaroo or two!
We begin at the magnificent Sullivan Rock, which is a granite rock covered in beautiful, delicate moss and a great introduction of the natural beauty to come. With two great climbs to the half way point on this tour, prepare yourself for some challenges, and of course incredible views when you get there.
