The Lost Botanist Hunt is narrative field experience for corporate groups. Set across one of the world’s largest inner-city parklands, ten minutes from the Perth CBD, a world away from the office.
Somewhere in Kings Park, a botanist’s field notes went missing. The clues she left behind are scattered across trails, lookouts, and landmarks, encoded in the landscape itself. Your team’s task is to find them.
This is a terrain-led investigation that uses Kings Park’s ecological and cultural story as the puzzle. Each location holds a clue. Each clue requires your team to actually pay attention to where they are.
The park does the heavy lifting. Your team does the thinking. We set the conditions.
Teams decode narrative riddles, complete place-based challenges, and navigate using physical maps and environmental observation. A hidden mechanic mid-hunt forces teams to make decisions about what to share and what to protect, surfacing the dynamics that matter: who leads under pressure, who notices what others miss, how your people communicate when the answer isn’t obvious.
The outcomes are sharper problem-solving, stronger team communication, a renewed sense of place. Your team will be too absorbed in the hunt to notice they’re building something.

Our scavenger hunt was the perfect way to see Perth, have a laugh, collaborate and work together which is exactly what we were striving to achieve!
Many of the attendees said the experience exceeded their expectations, including our General Manager of Brand & ESG … in fact, we had many of our VIPs on the Experience and they all enjoyed their time. On behalf of the entire Quest team, thank you for your contribution to our conference.
