We begin above ground, tracing a 90-minute journey through Yanchep’s wild bushland and paperbark-lined wetlands, where birdsong replaces background noise. This is movement as ritual.
Then, we descend.
Below the surface lies a chamber carved by time. The setting for a rare and restorative 60-minute yin yoga immersion, led by Mel Howard of Twisting Peacock Yoga. Surrounded by silence, held in stillness, and supported by the natural acoustics of the cave, this practice offers more than just rest, but a nervous system reset, designed to bring you home to your breath and body.
From here, we’ll transition into a co-hosted journalling experience, guided by Mel. With space, stillness, and curated prompts, you’ll explore what’s been waiting to rise when the world goes quiet.
To close, we gather once more with a cold-pressed juice, sipped slowly in ritual, as a final act of nourishment.
This is a once-off gathering. A sacred pause. A return to what matters, beneath the surface.
This experience is designed for those craving a deeper pause.
For those seeking space to breathe, to reflect, and to reconnect.
No prior yoga or hiking experience is necessary.
This is a once-only event.
We won’t repeat it.
Once the group gathers, the moment passes, just like the season it was made for.
We’d love you to be part of it.

The whole experience was amazing! Yoga in the Cabaret Cave was not to be missed! I have not done yoga for years but that did not matter. Yoga was followed by a refreshing drink and time to drop your yoga mat in the car before setting off on the Hike. The hike was done at your own pace with the Hike Collective having people at the front and behind - so that nobody got left behind. There was even time for photos. Absolutely fantastic experience and would highly recommend!
We were made feel very welcome from the moment we arrived. Great directions given on how to get to Caberet Cave .The afternoon activity inclusions were explained clearly as well, so it was truly a stressfree experience. Yoga in the cave was wonderful, and the juice afterwards was delicious. During the hike, we were able to see kangaroos, koalas, and a native beehive on our journey through Yanchep National Park, which was beautiful. It was a wonderful experience overall, and I would definitely recommend it.
The cave was stunning & the yoga was gentle & beginner friendly with very clear, easy to follow instructions. The hike was moderately paced with our guide sharing interesting information about the bush & history along the way, she was a little hard to hear though. We loved our time in Yanchep.
