  • Tip: Perfect for a relaxing wander, with plenty of shaded spots to sit and take in the scenery.

Kalamina is soft, serene, and loves to show off her reflection in these calm pools. Take it slow here; she’ll reveal her beauty if you’re patient.

Weano Gorge – The Friendly Guide

Weano Gorge is the friendly, approachable guide of Karijini. It offers a touch of adventure with winding passages and gentle water crossings, making it an ideal choice for an introductory Karijini experience.

  • Difficulty: Moderate
  • Distance: 1km loop
  • Time: 1 hour
  • What to Bring: Comfortable walking shoes (reef shoes helpful for water crossings), swimsuit, sunscreen, hat, and a waterproof bag
  • Tip: The descent down the handrail into Handrail Pool may be a little intimidating, but it’s manageable, with a beautiful pool waiting at the end.

Weano’s inviting paths and peaceful pools are the perfect introduction to the park—just enough adventure to keep things exciting but always a handrail to hold on to.

 

Dales Gorge – The Free Spirit
