10 Year Birthday Celebration Hike

A decade of walking people into wild places. A decade of connection, adventure and community. And one very special morning to celebrate it all.

This year, The Hike Collective turns 10, and we’d love you to be part of the celebration.

What began in 2016 as a simple idea to bring people together through hiking has grown into ten incredible years of trails, friendships, adventures, laughter, wild places and unforgettable moments.

So, naturally, we’re celebrating the best way we know how!  Together, outdoors and on the trail.

Join Kate, owner and founder of The Hike Collective, and the team for a special birthday walk through beautiful Kings Park. We’ll wander, chat, share a few stories from the past decade and celebrate the people who have helped turn a little hiking idea into the community it is today.

And when the walking shoes come off, the birthday festivities begin!

We’ll gather on the lawn for a relaxed morning celebration, complete with morning tea, grazing, birthday cupcakes, lawn games, a media wall and plenty of fun with our hiking community.

Bring the kids. Bring your hiking buddies. Bring the friend you met on one of our trails. Or simply bring yourself.

Whether you joined us for your very first hike last month, have been walking with us since the early days, have guided alongside us, supported us, partnered with us, or have simply followed the adventure from afar, this celebration is for you.

A little walk. A big birthday. Ten incredible years.

Over the past decade, we’ve walked thousands of kilometres together. We’ve watched strangers become friends, nervous first-time hikers discover what they’re capable of, and our community explore some of Western Australia’s most extraordinary places.

But The Hike Collective has never really been about the kilometres.

It’s about movement. Connection. Nature.

It’s about what happens when we step outside, walk side by side and make a little more room for adventure in our lives.

So come and raise a cupcake with us as we celebrate 10 years of The Hike Collective, and the many trails still ahead.
